His first invention, the File-N-Joint, helped revolutionize chainsaw sharpening and laid the foundation for what Granberg would become. By the 1960s, Elof expanded into chainsaw milling, refining the Alaskan Mill into the system that would become the global standard for portable lumber production.

Nearly 70 years later, we’re still family-owned, still manufacturing in the USA, and still guided by Elof’s belief that quality tools should be built to last. Three generations of the Granberg family have carried that standard forward.
